Dear Guest,
You have found the perfect family vacation rental cabin for your sunny or snowy getaway! Your 2-3 hour drive from the Bay Area brings you to our simple and inviting cabin among the trees in Dorrington (Arnold, CA). Your group of 10 or fewer will have plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the spaces, including the game room.
We have been welcoming travelers to our cabin since 2019 and have really had a blast vicariously enjoying the memories that people create here.

No. Even though we list our cabin on Airbnb and VRBO, those companies do not provide any of the amenities or hospitality that guests value at Evergreen. Guests might book through those companies, but we consider you our guest, not Airbnb or VRBO’s guest.
What is your cancellation policy?
CANCELLATION POLICY
You will receive a full refund if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before arrival; No refunds within 14 days of arrival.
Initiate the cancellation by sending an email to chelseagirl10@hotmail.com. You may also call/text Chelsea (or husband Bobby) at 510-606-6377.
If your cancelled dates are re-booked, we may offer you a partial refund at our discretion.
We strongly encourage you to consider purchasing a separate low-cost travel insurance policy that can provide you coverage for last-minute cancellations.
YES. You are welcome to bring along up to two well-behaved, house-trained dogs. We charge $100 per pet fee. Please describe your furry friend and their breed, behavior, and personality. We look forward to hosting them as well!
Is this a good house for a party?
NO. Our cabin is not suitable for parties. Such events are hard on our furniture, plumbing, and appliances and we don’t allow them. In addition, we do not allow parties out of respect for our neighbors. Parties will be shut down immediately and the booking will be cancelled.
Do you provide outdoor adventure equipment?
YES. In the summer we provide access to our two kayaks (and car rack), two adult bicylcles, and one inflatable paddle board. In the winter we give you access to our sleds and two pairs of show shoes.
NO. Upon booking, you will be charged 50% of the total booking. You will be charged the remaining balance 14 days before your arrival.
Should we take all our trash with us?
YES. Unfortunately, we do not have regular trash pickup at the cabin and we therefore require guests to dispose of their own trash either by taking it home or to the local dump on your way out of town.
If you choose to leave trash behind we will withhold a $25 trash removal fee from your security deposit. (Waived for bookings that checkout on either Wednesdays or Thursdays when dump is closed). There is a convenient free trash dump on your way out of town in Avery (directions/instructions provided).
